A&D Weighing BM-14 Pipette Accuracy Testing Kit for BM Series

The A&D BM-14 (officially BM-014) is designed to turn a compatible A&D BM Series micro or analytical balance into a pipette accuracy testing system. It uses the gravimetric method, where dispensed water is weighed and the results are used to evaluate pipette performance. A&D currently lists the BM-014 for use with the BM-20, BM-22, BM-252, BM-200, BM-300, and BM-500. Importantly, A&D states that the kit cannot be used with the BM-5 or BM-5D. The appropriate balance should also be selected according to the pipette volume and accuracy requirements of the testing application.

The kit includes an evaporation trap, sample/weighing containers with absorbent material, two 30 mL cups, two 5 mL cups, a cup holder, liquid thermometer, USB connection cable, WinCT-Pipette data-processing software, instruction manual, and carrying case.
