DSC 934AH glass microfiber filters are commonly used for determining total suspended solids (TSS), particulate analysis, and environmental monitoring. They are widely applied in water quality testing, wastewater analysis, and laboratory filtration of turbid samples where high particle retention and fast filtration are required.

These filters are made from binder-free borosilicate glass microfiber, which provides high purity and excellent particle retention. Because they contain no chemical binders, they minimize contamination and are suitable for analytical and environmental testing applications.

Grade 934AH filters typically provide fine particle retention of about 1.5 µm, making them effective for capturing small suspended particles during filtration while maintaining high flow rates.

The 125 mm diameter filter circles are designed for use with larger laboratory filtration systems such as Büchner funnels, vacuum filtration assemblies, and other filtration holders that support 125 mm filter discs. The larger surface area allows efficient filtration of higher sample volumes.

Glass microfiber filters provide higher flow rates, greater loading capacity, and improved retention of fine particles compared with many standard cellulose filter papers. These properties make them especially useful for filtering large volumes or heavily contaminated samples.
