The Genie Vortex-Genie Pulse SI-P236 is a laboratory vortex mixer designed to rapidly mix, resuspend, and homogenize liquids and samples in tubes and vials. Its pulsing mixing action makes it ideal for difficult samples that require more aggressive agitation than standard continuous vortexing.

“Pulsing action” refers to the mixer’s ability to repeatedly start and stop motion at programmable intervals, creating increased collisions and random movement. This leads to more thorough mixing, especially for viscous, heterogeneous, or hard-to-suspend materials.

This model operates at a variable speed range of approximately 500–3000 rpm, with fully programmable time and pulsing settings (from 0.1 seconds up to 99 minutes) for customized mixing and interval control.

Yes — in addition to its pulsing mode, the SI-P236 can be used as a standard continuous vortex mixer, giving you flexibility for both routine and more demanding mixing applications.
