Whirl-Pak B01592 Hydrated PolyProbe™ - 8" L - 100 Probes

The Whirl-Pak B01592 Hydrated PolyProbe is designed for environmental surface sampling in laboratories, food processing facilities, and cleanroom environments. It allows users to collect microbial samples from surfaces such as equipment, countertops, and production areas for microbiological testing and contamination monitoring.

The PolyProbe features a polyurethane sponge attached to an 8-inch polypropylene probe handle. The sponge is used to swab the sampling surface, then placed back into the sterile Whirl-Pak bag for transport to the laboratory for analysis. The detachable handle helps maintain hygienic sample collection without touching the sponge.

Each probe includes a sponge that is pre-moistened with HiCap™ neutralizing broth, which helps recover microorganisms from surfaces and neutralize sanitizers that might otherwise inhibit microbial growth during testing. This improves the accuracy of environmental monitoring results.

Yes. The probes are terminally gamma-processed to ensure sterility, making them suitable for microbiological sampling and contamination monitoring programs where sterile collection tools are required.
