PALL 4612 Acrodisc Syringe Filters with Supor® Membrane, Sterile - 0.2 µm, 25 mm (50/pkg)

The Pall 4612 uses a hydrophilic polyethersulfone (PES) Supor® membrane with ultra-low protein binding, which helps maximize sample recovery. This is especially important when working with biological samples, proteins, or pharmaceuticals where sample loss must be minimized.

A 0.2 µm pore size is commonly used for sterile filtration, effectively removing bacteria and fine particulates from liquids. This makes the Pall 4612 ideal for sterilizing buffers, culture media, and aqueous solutions in laboratory workflows.

The Supor® membrane features an asymmetric pore structure, which enables high flow rates and greater throughput compared to standard membranes. This allows faster filtration of samples while maintaining consistent performance and reliability.

This filter has a 25 mm diameter, 0.2 µm pore size, and an effective filtration area of ~2.8 cm². It is sterile, individually packaged, and supplied in packs of 50, making it suitable for routine lab use and regulated environments.

This filter is widely used for clarification and sterilization of aqueous solutions, including HPLC sample prep, cell culture media filtration, and protein solutions. Its chemical compatibility (pH 1–14) also allows it to be used across a wide range of laboratory applications.
