Description
The use of adapter collar (part number 5225) is recommended when using a filter plate with a standard receiver plate in a centrifuge.
The adapter collar is placed on top of the receiver plate, with the filter plate above. The adapter collar ensures that neither the filter plate or receiver plate will shift during centrifugation and ensuring the outlet tips remain centered over the receiver plate wells.
The use of an adapter collar will reduce alignment issues and prevent unwanted leakages.
