This filter plate is designed for high-throughput sterile filtration of biological samples, including cell culture media, proteins, reagents, and buffers. It is commonly used in biotech, pharmaceutical research, and laboratory sample preparation workflows.

The dual-layer design combines a 0.65 µm prefilter with a 0.2 µm sterilizing membrane, allowing both clarification and sterile filtration in a single step. This improves efficiency by removing particulates first and then achieving sterilizing-grade filtration without clogging.

Each well in the 24-well plate can process up to approximately 7 mL of sample, making it suitable for larger-volume filtration compared to 96-well plates and reducing the need for multiple processing steps.
