This syringe filter is designed for sterile filtration and clarification of particle-laden aqueous or oil-based samples. It is commonly used in sample preparation, HPLC workflows, biological solutions, and buffer filtration, where reliable removal of bacteria and particles is required. The integrated glass fiber prefilter helps handle difficult samples with higher throughput.

The built-in glass fiber prefilter protects the membrane from early clogging, allowing larger particles to be removed first. This significantly increases total filtration volume and improves flow rate, making the filter ideal for heavily contaminated or turbid samples.

The SFCA membrane provides very low non-specific binding, which helps preserve proteins and biomolecules during filtration. This makes the filter particularly suitable for biological samples, buffers, and sensitive analytical solutions where sample recovery is critical.

A 0.2 µm pore size is commonly used for sterile filtration, removing bacteria and fine particulates from liquids. This pore size is ideal for clarifying samples prior to analytical testing, chromatography, or sterile processing.

The 28 mm diameter with approximately 6.2 cm² filtration area provides high throughput and efficient filtration. Standard female luer-lock inlet and male luer outlet connections make it compatible with most laboratory syringes and filtration setups.
