Description

The ViBRA ALE precision balances are an economical solution for a Class II NTEP approved scale. It is capable of performing in wide range of industries but is especially well suited for the agricultural industry. The ALE is also designed for use in pill counting and density determination. The ALE Series features the unique Vibra tuning fork sensor that vibrates when a force is applied. Because the sensor isn't temperature sensitive, the ViBRA ALE series requires little to no warm up time. The balance has additional helpful user features such as programmable keys, USB and RS-232 communication, and a bar graph indicator displaying the capacity usage.

Frequently Asked Questions

The ViBRA ALE-2202 is designed for precision weighing in laboratories, pharmaceutical facilities, research institutions, manufacturing plants, cannabis testing labs, and quality control departments. With a 2,200 g capacity and 0.01 g readability, it is ideal for weighing chemicals, powders, raw materials, formulations, and production samples that require highly accurate and repeatable measurements.

The ALE-2202 uses ViBRA's patented tuning fork sensor technology, which provides fast stabilization, outstanding repeatability, and long-term measurement stability. Unlike many conventional electromagnetic balances, the tuning fork sensor is less affected by temperature fluctuations and vibration, helping deliver consistent results with minimal warm-up time.

Yes. The ALE-2202 is NTEP Class II certified, making it suitable for approved commercial applications that require certified precision weighing. It offers 0.01 g readability with an NTEP verification interval (e) of 0.1 g, allowing it to meet legal-for-trade requirements in qualifying industries.

Absolutely. The balance comes equipped with USB Type-B and bi-directional RS-232 communication interfaces, making it easy to connect to computers, printers, laboratory information management systems (LIMS), and compatible data collection software. These connectivity options simplify electronic record keeping, GLP-compliant documentation, and workflow automation.

The ALE-2202 supports a wide variety of weighing applications, including parts counting, percentage weighing, checkweighing, density determination, pill counting, dynamic (animal) weighing, statistical analysis, accumulation, formulation, and optional underhook weighing. These built-in modes allow a single balance to handle multiple laboratory and industrial weighing tasks efficiently.
