Very fast filtration for use with coarse and gelatinous precipitates. High wet strength makes this grade very suitable for vacuum assisted fast filtration of ‘difficult’ coarse or gelatinous precipitates.

Cytiva Whatman Grade 54 filter paper has high wet strength and a larger nominal particle retention rating than comparable Büchner filtration papers, enabling fast vacuum filtration of coarse precipitates.
