These extraction thimbles are primarily used for Soxhlet extraction and solvent-based sample preparation, enabling efficient separation of analytes from solid samples. They are commonly used in food testing (fat/oil analysis), environmental monitoring, and pesticide residue analysis.

HP-GF thimbles are made from 100% binder-free borosilicate glass fibers, which eliminates contamination from additives. They are also compatible with aggressive solvents and higher temperatures, making them a better choice for demanding analytical applications compared to cellulose options.

This thimble can withstand temperatures up to approximately 500°C, allowing it to be used in high-temperature extraction and combustion-related applications without degradation.

The glass microfiber structure offers nominal particle retention around 0.8 µm, enabling efficient capture of fine particulates while maintaining good solvent flow during extraction processes.

This model features a 19 mm inner diameter and 90 mm length, is non-sterile, and is supplied in packs of 25. It is designed to fit most standard Soxhlet extractors, ensuring compatibility with common lab setups.
