Whatman 1827-082 Filter Circles, 82mm Dia, Binder Free Grade 934-AH, 100/pk (PN:1827-082)

These filters are designed for high-efficiency filtration of fine particulates, especially in water quality testing, air monitoring, and laboratory sample preparation. They are widely used for total suspended solids (TSS) analysis and environmental testing applications.

Grade 934-AH filters offer approximately 1.5 µm particle retention with fast flow rates and high loading capacity. This combination allows efficient filtration of turbid or particle-heavy samples without clogging quickly.

These filters are made from binder-free borosilicate glass microfiber, which provides low extractables, high purity, and minimal fiber shedding. This ensures reliable results in sensitive analytical and environmental applications.

This product features an 82 mm diameter, ~435 µm thickness, hydrophilic surface, and fast filtration speed, and is supplied in packs of 100 filters. It is non-sterile and designed for routine laboratory use.

Unlike cellulose filter paper, Grade 934-AH glass microfiber filters provide higher loading capacity, faster flow rates, and better retention of fine particles. They also withstand high temperatures (up to ~500–550°C), making them suitable for demanding analytical methods.
