Genie Digital Disruptor Genie SI-DD38

The SI-DD38 is a high-performance cell disruptor and homogenizer designed to break open cells and release biological materials such as DNA, RNA, proteins, and enzymes. It is widely used in laboratories for yeast, bacteria, plant, and animal tissue processing, especially in bead-based extraction methods.

Unlike traditional vortex mixers, the SI-DD38 uses a patented multi-directional motion that combines vortexing with intense agitation. This results in faster and more efficient cell disruption, delivering higher yields in less time compared to standard mixing methods.

This unit provides digital control over speed (1,000–3,000 RPM) and time (up to 99 minutes or continuous operation). It also includes adjustable speed alarms, allowing users to achieve precise, repeatable, and consistent results in demanding lab applications.

The SI-DD38 comes with a universal microtube holder that supports multiple 1.5 mL and 2.0 mL tubes simultaneously (up to 12 tubes depending on configuration). It also includes a pop-off cup for single-tube vortexing, offering flexibility for different lab workflows.
