The A&D GC-30K is designed for fast and accurate parts counting in warehouses, manufacturing facilities, inventory rooms, packaging departments, and distribution centers. With a 60 lb (30 kg) capacity and 0.01 lb (5 g) readability, it is particularly useful for counting large quantities of components such as fasteners, hardware, electronic parts, fittings, and packaged goods.

The GC-30K uses A&D's Automatic Counting Accuracy Improvement (ACAI) technology. As additional pieces are placed on the scale, ACAI can refine the calculated average unit weight, helping improve counting accuracy. The GC-30K also supports a Fine Mode minimum unit weight of 0.05 g, providing greater flexibility when counting relatively lightweight components.

The GC-30K can store information for up to 1,000 items in its internal memory, allowing operators to quickly recall frequently counted products instead of entering unit-weight information each time.
